This program is designed for qualified students who contemplate pursuing graduate work beyond the master's degree and for qualified secondary school teachers who wish to improve their subject matter competence by earning a master's degree in pure Mathematics.

Entry requirement for international students
Students should have earned a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university. For unconditional admission, applicants must have earned a minimum undergraduate academic average of 3.0 in their major area of study and not less than 3.0 average overall. In addition, applicants must present an undergraduate major in mathematics or its equivalent, including at least 12 semester hours above a year in calculus. For conditional admission, applicants must have earned a minimum undergraduate academic average of 2.5 in their major area of study, and not less than 2.5 average overall. In addition, applicants must present an undergraduate major in mathematics or its equivalent, including at least 12 semester hours above a year in calculus.
