Course summary

Requirements for the Degree of Master of Arts: A. One year academic residency as a full-time student. B. Successful completion of an approved schedule of courses: MATH 101a and b, MATH 110a, MATH 111a and b, and MATH 121a and b. C. Proficiency in reading French, German, or Russian.

Entry requirement for international students

Applicants should have earned a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution for graduate admissions. International students, whose native language is not English, must have a minimum Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of 600 (paper-based), 250 (computer-based) or 79 (internet-based). Students may also take the International English Language Testing Service (IELTS) in lieu of the TOEFL. A minimum score of 7 is required for the IELTS. Graduate Record Exam (GRE) general test is also required for admission.
