Course summary
This program is designed to enhance the five-year education department experience, students who have been enrolled in the undergraduate program will be given preference in admission to the MAT. If there are openings remaining in the cohort, applications will be accepted for review from: The College of Idaho graduates who have completed the The College of Idaho Teacher Education minor; Those who have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with appropriate course work in an area of endorsement, and the education minor, who need the additional education classes necessary for teaching certification.

Entry requirement for international students
Students an earned Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; completion of an elementary or secondary education minor; completion of the admission application; three essays related to the Education Department's conceptual framework, leadership abilities, and educational reform; three letters of reference: one from a K-12 teacher with whom the candidate has worked, one from a professor in the candidate's content area, one from a person of the candidate's choice, an undergraduate cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better; presentation of a student portfolio, and scores from the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) taken within the last five years.
