Course summary
The Master of Business Administration (MBA) program is designed to provide a well-rounded graduate education in business. The student is expected to incorporate the functional skills of finance, operations, information systems, marketing, economics and accounting with classes in organizational behavior, strategy, ethics, and entrepreneurship. Their classes will include case studies, teamwork, and individual presentations integrated with professional lectures, networks, and mentoring. The faculty provide each student with practical instruction combined with individual and consultative-like support. The college believes this personalized approach to a graduate program will prepare students for, and connect them to, the best opportunities in the business world. The MBA program is highly customizable to help students meet their individual career goals. This Program is also offered with certificate programs: Accounting, Business Economics, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Financial Planning, Information resource management, International Business and Marketing.
Program modules
The core 27 hours of coursework is designed to give students a solid foundation in various business disciplines. Electives are the opportunity to customize their skill set to meet the desired career goals. Students can use their electives to complete graduate certificates, or they can take individual courses across a broad spectrum - - either way, they are prepared to meet their career goals.
Entry requirement for international students
The applicant must satisfy the following minimum requirements for admission: essay questions, two professional recommendations; Employer letter of support; personal resume; GMAT test score; Official college or university transcripts showing proof of baccalaureate degree. International Students must also provide the following material: Bank Statement; Proof of Visa status; English translation of transcripts with explanation of grading systems; Statement of financial responsibility; Recommended TOEFL score of 250 (computer-based test) or 600 (paper-based test) if English is not the native language; Transcripts or test scores are considered official when sent directly from the school or testing service.
