Course summary
We know that business fundamentals such as accounting, finance, marketing, operations and strategy are all important, and a Merage MBA helps you excel in these areas. But in today’s corporate environment, these skills alone will not set you apart. What distinguishes the Merage MBA from others are the three key drivers of business growth – these are the core focus of the Merage School’s visionary curriculum. At the Merage School, information technology is an integral part of the curriculum. The extensive role of IT in business today is reflected and reinforced in the program. As a Merage MBA student, you will acquire technological literacy, but even more important, you will gain an understanding of how IT can be used strategically to help make you a better leader and manager. With the proliferation of data in today’s business environment, learning how to leverage information to make smarter decisions has become more critical than ever. The Program at the Merage School will teach you how to evaluate information, solve problems, and make sound business decisions.
Entry requirement for international students
Student who wants to apply for masters or doctors program should have finished their bachelor degree. An applicant must meet the minimum academic requirements: Applicant should hold a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) from a recognized academic institution with degree standards equivalent to those of the University of California and have a minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0. International applicants whose native language is other than English will be required to demonstrate their English proficiency. This is most often accomplished by achieving a minimum score of 550 (paper-based) or 213 (computer-based) on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and On the TOEFL iBT minimum score of 80 and a score of 7 on the IELTS.
