Course summary

Advanced Teaching is designed to offer experienced certified educators opportunities to deepen their knowledge and develop their professional strengths and resources. Hallmarks of our approach include opportunities for shared reflection and inquiry using innovative technologies. The Advanced Teaching concentration allows experienced educators to pursue professional growth in an area of particular interest and to earn an advanced degree. Course work is highly individualized and may be linked to ongoing research toward a specialized understanding of a field or topic that pertains to teaching and learning. The four concentrations within Advanced Teaching are as follows: Math , Science, Literacy , The Gifted .

Entry requirement for international students

GRE scores, Official transcripts, At least two recommendations, TOEFL scores, Elementary or Secondary Teaching programs must also submit passing scores to the ICTS Basic Skills Test (or proof of registration to take that test).
