Course summary

The MSNA program has received full accreditation from the Council on Accreditation (COA). A second onsite visit to the program will be conducted within the 12 month period following graduation of the first class in 2009. The mission of the Master of Science in Nurse Anesthesia (MSNA) program at Westminster College is to provide an academic environment, which allows nurse anesthesia students to master the intellectual and technical skills required to become competent in the safe administration of anesthesia. 65 credit hours,15 students selected annually.

Program modules

The core 27 hours of coursework is designed to give students a solid foundation in various business disciplines. Electives are the opportunity to customize their skill set to meet the desired career goals. Students can use their electives to complete graduate certificates, or they can take individual courses across a broad spectrum - - either way, they are prepared to meet their career goals.

Entry requirement for international students

The applicant must satisfy the following minimum requirements for admission: essay questions, two professional recommendations; Employer letter of support; personal resume; GMAT test score; Official college or university transcripts showing proof of baccalaureate degree. International Students must also provide the following material: Bank Statement; Proof of Visa status; English translation of transcripts with explanation of grading systems; Statement of financial responsibility; Recommended TOEFL score of 250 (computer-based test) or 600 (paper-based test) if English is not the native language; Transcripts or test scores are considered official when sent directly from the school or testing service.
