Course summary
The Master of Science degree in the Adult Acute Care Program prepares nurses for an advanced practice role delivering advanced acute care nursing to adults across the life span. This program prepares the advanced practice nurse to focus on nursing acutely ill and injured young, middle aged, and older adults. The focus is on management of adult health and illness in acute care settings. Diagnostic reasoning, teaching and collaborative practice for an adult population across states of health are emphasized.
