Course summary
The Master of Science degree in Pediatrics prepares nurses for an advanced practice role with children. This program also prepares the advanced practice nurse to focus on the management of health and illness, health promotion, disease prevention and acute or chronic illness. Diagnostic reasoning, teaching and collaborative practice for a pediatric client population are emphasized across the ages of infants, children, adolescents and families experiencing acute or chronic health problems.
