Venue description

The Northwestern University School of Music is one of the oldest degree-granting music schools in the United States. Its beginning stretches back to 1873, when the Northwestern Female College and the Evanston College for Ladies incorporated into the Northwestern University Women's College. This new institution established the Conservatory of Music, and in 1891 Peter Christian Lutkin was named its director. In 1892, the division was renamed the Department of Music and three years later become the School of Music, with Lutkin as its first dean.

The Engelhart Hall residence hall is located on the western edge of campus at 1915 Maple Avenue. The Monthly rent for a two bedroom Apartment is $1250 , One bedroom Apartment is $1150 , one bedroom single is $950 ,and rent for car parking and bicycle parking extra. the McManus Living-Learning Center residence hall is located on the southern edge of campus at 1725 Orrington Avenue and exclusively serves the students enrolled in the MBA program*, their spouses/children/partners, and guests of the Kellogg Graduate School of Management. A two bedroom family housing is $1300 , one bed room /two bed room also available with underground heated car parking . The campus bookstore, Wildcard Office, Bursar's Office, Student Accounts, Financial Aid Office are also located in Abbott Hall.
