Course summary

This program prepares students for recruitment by the best organizations in the world for positions such as financial analyst, corporate treasurer, controller, auditor, and financial consultant. This program is specially designed so students are able to take certain electives to work toward earning eligibility for the New York State CPA exam.

Entry requirement for international students

Students seeking admission must provide official documentation of having earned at least a U.S. bachelor's degree, or its equivalent from another country, by the time they enroll at Syracuse. Some programs require a master's degree. International applicants must have graduated from colleges or universities that are recognized by the national educational authorities of their home countries. Students from Canada must have a three-year bachelor's degree from Quebec or a four-year bachelor's degree from the other provinces. Students from Central and South America must have a university degree requiring four years of study. Students from France and other countries following the French system must have a degree or diploma requiring four years of study after the baccalaureate (usually the maitrise). Students from Germany must have completed a diploma. Students from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Nepal are required to have a bachelor's degree in engineering or a master's degree in any other field. Students from other Asian countries must have a university degree requiring four years of study Students from United Kingdom and countries following the British system must have a bachelor's degree with honors. Students from Other European countries must have a university degree requiring four years of study. Students should have obtained a minimum TOEFL score of 620 paper-based, 260 computer-based, or 105 internet-based for applicants for whom English is not a native language.
