Course summary
In this program students will examine the business organization in terms of structure, process and behavior. The concentration's primary focus is on human resources and their contribution to a firm's competitive advantage. This concentration includes seminars that cover the practices and skills necessary for the primary human resources management functions, such as compensation, selection and placement, and labor relations. Other seminars provide an in-depth study of leadership and the process of organizational change. Upon completing the program students will have abundant career opportunities. An MBA with a professional field in organizational behavior and human resource management supports growth and development from two perspectives. Individuals with established career paths will have the opportunity to gain the broader, more general perspective necessary for promotion to top managerial positions. Entry requirement for international students
Students must hold a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from a regionally accredited institution. Students should have a 2.8 grade point average or higher on all undergraduate work or a 3.0 GPA on the last 60 hours of their undergraduate degree or a 3.4 GPA on their master's degree. International students should have obtained a minimum TOEFL score of 79 (Internet-based), score of 550 (Paper-based) and score of 213 (Computer-based) and a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 overall band and also should have minimum MELAB (official version) score of 80 or higher.
