Course summary
This program provides a broad exposure to skills necessary to manage an organization. Strategic management involves establishing the direction, strategies and policies that an organization will follow to accomplish its objectives. This knowledge is important for sustainable growth of business and the U.S. economy. On completion of the program, career opportunities are plentiful. An MBA with a concentration in strategic management can support their career development in one of two ways. If students have an established career path, the strategic management concentration provides students the opportunity to gain critical top management perspectives necessary to scale the corporate ladder. If students are preparing to enter the business world, the combination of an undergraduate degree with an MBA concentration in strategic management provides an excellent foundation for additional career opportunities.
