Course summary

UT Memphis requires three years of undergraduate coursework (90 semester hours) as a prerequisite to admission. Tennessee Tech offers all of the pre-professional courses necessary to satisfy that requirement. After completing the pre health information management course work at Tennessee Tech, another year at UT Memphis is required to complete the professional training program

Entry requirement for international students

Students should be a graduate from a secondary school and be at least 16 years of age. All international students whose native language is not English must have an official Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of at least 500 (paper based test) or 173 (computer-based test) or 61 (internet Based TOEFL) submitted prior to admission. Students who have less than a 2.00 high school GPA or less than a 17 ACT Composite score will be reviewed by the Admissions Review Committee. They should demonstrate competence in basic courses at the secondary level that are closely related to the intended major program of study at the University.
