It's very good here, pleasant and cool place to live and study. The students should once in while come and experience the difference for themselved.
An immigration agent from my country adviced me to join NMIT, so i got enrolled. It was an easy process but I got my VISA 3 weeks after the uni had started but the college was very good.
I did not know about scholarships when i was applying for this course. When i came here, my parents helped me to pay the college fees but now i pay the fees by myself. I would have to say that the fees are a bit expensive too.
I am studying salon management and hair dressing, my best bit would be the creativity involved in the course. The teachers are good and units are good too but some of them have already been completed (studied) before by me. I have to study for 3 days in a week. We have a multicultural and international atmosphere in class.
There is the library where students can borrow books, etc, then we have canteen and sports facilities too for the students. Its very hard to find a job here, i got my first job through a referral of my friend and its not related to my course. My accommodation i would say is very good and safe and can say 99.99% safe. I did not know of any clubs or students unions which i could join.
Yes, the course will improve my employment chances, after finish the course i want to get a job in my hair dressing field. I think i will remain in contact with my friends through Phone or EMail
