I like the management, studies and also the teachers. There are lots of good quality about the institute and study standard is also good. I would recommend this institute to all international students because it is one of the best colleges in Melbourne and you will receive good training from experienced teachers, so if you really are serious about your future in hospitality then this is the right course.
I came from Nepal through a consultancy, They helped me in my visa, they also guided in getting financial documents which are required when applying a student visa. I also did my IELTS, the consultancy arranged a date and also my medicals. The whole process took me around 3 – 4 months.
There was no scholarship for me in Academia but there is option. I think you need to talk to the management to get scholarship and also you need to be good in studies.
I am studying Hospitality. I really liked the studies here. I studied about 24 hours per week. The teachers were all experienced and very helpful. This course is a value for money, it maybe a little expensive but its worth the money put in.
I like visiting places in Melbourne and I love the neighborhood parks which are clean and green. I also like going to the city at nights because, day time I usually sleep and am lazy. There is peace in my place and it is a value for money not very expensive accommodation in my case, I am lucky in living with my friends. I had big problem when I first came when I wanted to work and I did not get any job. Now, its easy.
In stage 4 of cookery, we are taken for training at a 5 star hotel, this will give us a big exposure of how hospitality industry functions. I think there is good scope after I finish this course. I will also join the alumni.
