I was a Doctoral Student in Computer Science at the Cornell University. The university lived up to its name . the study facilities here were really good. My thesis was A Scalable Model for Networked Virtual Environments. I worked under Prof. Johannes Gehrke. It was a great learning experience.
I was awarded the Cornell University Fellowship, 2006 2007. I was also offered Research Assistantship during Fall 2006, Spring 2007 and Fall 2007 and Teaching Assistantship during Fall 2007.
My research interests include Database Management; Personalization and extensibility of web applications; Infrastructure for virtual worlds and online collaboration; Financial and quantitative analysis of various markets. During Fall and Spring 2007 I was involved in scripting Hilda, a unified programming language for data-driven web applications and I researched the scalability aspects of such applications and the backend infrastructure.
I gained valuable research experience working as a Summer Intern and a research assistant at various institutes during my time at the university.
