I am alumni of Southampton University. I completed my Masters in Radio Frequency Telecommunication. The program was well structured and all the professors and facilities were very good. On the whole, Southampton is a great place to do your higher studies.

ratingSelection process and gaining admission

I had both written and term work exams as my course work. It was a full time course and I had to attend 5 days a week lectures and tutorials. I had used the service of two educational councilors in Mumbai. I had to get student visas for the course. It was a very easy and simple process as the university had provided me all the necessary documents. Getting there was easy and I landed at Heathrow airport and it was 2hours by coach to university. I was allowed excess baggage and immigration was no issues.

The program did what it had said, it was well structured and all professors and facilities were very good.

I did not use university accommodation as it was expensive sp shared a flat with students. It was a very good experience I enjoyed lot had lot of friends and parties and weather was also very nice but cold. There are many international student societies.

ratingJob prospects

They have a recruitment department where companies come and take mock interviews and such services. There was also a fair in the uni where lot of companies had come and got to learn a lot.
