My course is almost equivalent to an MBA degree. Professors here are highly qualified and are very helpful. To study at our university you need to be fully funded because here you are not going to get any funds.
I had written GRE and TOEFL to get an admission into the university. I had gone to PROMAC coaching center to prepare for these tests. I got visa for the second time. Only confidence is the thing that matters the most, then comes the acads and everything. Be confident and you can achieve anything. I booked my ticket from Malaysian airlines and I landed at LOS ANGELES AIRPORT(LAX). It was the first time I was flying. Overall a good experience. I had been given discount I guess. I dont remember exactly. I was picked up by my cousin who stays here and I had no problems with the immigration and I was charged for an extra bag. I had an orientation at the college.
Jobs and scholarships are really difficult to get over here.
I am pretty much happy with the way the course is structured. It is almost equivalent to an MBA degree. Professors here are highly qualified and are very helpful. Lecture halls and library are fully equipped with all the necessary items.
I am living with friends in a single bedroom apartment. We really need to work a lot to get a job here. Night life and social life are pretty cool here. CA is known to have the best weather in the whole of United States. We have an international student society here which conducts different events like cultural shows on festivals, games, picnics etc.
My university does give internship offers from different companies. Getting jobs is becoming difficult due to the bad structure of the economy. This is my 2nd semester here and I have very little idea about campus placements. I had gone to a job fair put by in the campus where I saw 30 big companies that attended.
