My project placement at Ericsson as part of the MSc Telecommunications Technology led to the offer of a job and I was pleasantly surprised to find myself working alongside other Aston TT graduates. I saw an internet video about the electronic engineering subject group at Astons feat of inventing the worlds longest laser, 75 km. This was one of the reasons I chose Aston coupled with the University ranking.
Coming from Nigeria, I could not have received better help from the staff from arrival through to graduation. While writing this, I got an invite from one of my ex classmates at Aston, who now works at sky in London, to attend a training course. The networking possibilities are limitless.
I have made friends from Argentina to Tonga. The mix of nationalities at the arrival parties made them an experience I will never forget.
