London is the banking center of the world and home to the headquarters of the worlds largest financial companies. Banks contribute a much higher percentage to the UK economy than in most other countries round the globe, and I felt that it would make an exciting place to study Finance.
My course covers topics such as investments, asset pricing and the pricing of financial instruments. Further, it offers a thorough exposure to econometric methods, including time series analysis with applications to financial models and data. One of the courses I particularly enjoy is financial economics. We learn about the pricing of financial instruments such as derivatives and options.
After I graduate I hope to set up a business in India specializing in financial consultancy for small and medium sized organizations. Prior to that I hope to gain industry experience by working hands-on in financial consultancy.
