i did enjoy my course. it was a good atmosphere. good vibe. very lively. a lot going on. my advice is to look at the clubs that are available to see which ones to join. it is important to network as much as possible and joining clubs is an easy way to do it.
the selection process was fairly basic.. it was really just a matter of completing year 12 and getting the right score. my course was all based on score, as opposed to others where auditions come into it. tips; make sure you research the info you need and also good to explore alternative pathways.
dont know of any funding or scholarships for overseas students.
the course quite comprehensive. gave you a good pathway if you know what you want. the best part was the variety of subject areas that can be studied and you could do subjects from other disciplines too. the tutors were varied; some were fantastic while others not as helpful. good value.
the facilities were good. there were enough computers in the library with enough space for the students. the uni was very central. there was a strong student union that was quite active and good. lots of chances to socialise, lots of bands to see.
yes increased prospects because it allows you to try difference range of jobs due to different range of subjects. and these days you can go on to do graduate diplomas and gain new qualifications and knock lots of time off your course due to the credits you got form your bachelor of arts. i am currently working.
