I was happy with the way my internship program was structured. It is a good intern if you wish to work in the application part, but not suggested for the ones interested in the theory. My advise to prospective students is to go for the Security Department.

ratingSelection process and gaining admission

I landed at JFK airport, NY. The institution is about 20kms from the airport. Baggage rules – A hand bag of 10kg, plus luggage of maximum 25kg. No migration issues were faced. The University offered a Meet and Greet service.

I was happy with the way my internship program was structured. I feel that the Profs need to pay more attention to internees. We had a good research environment. On the whole it was a good learning experience for me. Did not attend any lectures. We had access to the library but no books were issued.

I lived in university accommodation; the apartments were of good quality. There are a lot of Indians in NY, so the social scene is good. Weather in May-July is mildly cold.
