I've met a lot of friends, and half of my university life is socialising so I'm really enjoying it.
I applied online via UAC so the process was simple. I just needed the right mark to get in. It was quite easy to get the mark they required.
There are many scholarships advertised around the place that look really attractive, and pays a lot. I didnt bother to apply for any because I know you either need to be really smart, or really poor.
I'm loving the course because of the clinical part of it. The best bit is that this uni has some subjects that is not offered at other places and those are the more interesting areas! I've got class about 14 hours a week (full time), and spend another few studying (sometimes).
The facilities are awesome. We have everything for our pracs, and its all provided by the uni. We only needed to buy our own lab coats and stuff. The local area is cool, I had to move here from Sydney and was a little worried about it but it turned out great. Its not really that far away. Part-time and casual work is quite easy to find on campus, or somewhere local like a supermarket. Most students are doing something else besides just uni!
According to the uni, prospects are great, and I hope they are! When I asked about what we can do with it, it was all about research and stuff. I want to try and get into a graduate medicine course after this, then my prospects will really be awesome.
