College life is good. To succeed one really needs to work hard. The professors and college facilities do help to a certain extent, but ultimately it all rests with the students.
I am an Engg Graduate from Delhi and was working with Xansa, Noida as Senior Software Engineer. As I was holding around 6 years of experience, I decided to pursue Master Graduation. I gave GMAT / TOFEL and also submitted my experience records along with Score Card to Virginia Tech and thereby received the admission. Gaining admission completely depends on Merit / Experience. Visa interview was fine and they were impressed by my documents. I came through British Airways and a student from Student union came to the Airport to pick me. I reached to Washington D.C and from there I traveled to VT Campus along with Student who picked me. We need to pay for Meet and Greet Service.
As admission itself is completely depending on Merit and experience, we get Scholarships and stipends. To gain Scholarship, at least our GPA should touch 4.0.
College life is good. I am giving more attention to my studies. Professors in our school are friendly and help me to succeed in assignments. Education process is quite tough. Need to put a lot of effort to gain 3.5 GPA.
I am staying in College Boarding Accommodation. Many Indians are here at the university so I dont feel lonely or experience home sickness.
Job prospect is so progressive. I would say almost 50 60 Companies came for Campus Placement. During our graduation, we can expect at least Internship programs. Internship + GMAT Score + Experience Certificates counts a lot on Campus placement.
