There is a lot of things to learn in this new country. There are students from different countries and it is a very multi cultural atmosphere in here. The city is also very lively and you will not be alone because of so many international students. I have learnt to make a balance between my work and studies.
I came from korea through a representative. Their assistance was very good in the enrollment process. The uni requirement was not very difficult because I was not doing phd or research.
I have a friend who has scholarship but not me. I don’t think I deserve it. My parents help me in paying my fees.
I am studying bachelor of business now. My best bits are holidays when exams are over. If you have done well you can enjoy and sleep till afternoon. Uni studies are not very hard but they require you to keep in touch with the units and the progress of every class so that you don’t get left behind. The education system is good and the lectures are also very helpful.
There is a library. Public transport is close. I live near uni with my friends who are all international students. I found the accommodation through an uni ad. It is very hard to get a job because of my visa restrictions - it is hard to work on a student visa. I will keep on trying till I get one. Also my classes have to be free when I am working so I need to work out many things if I work.
Yes, my employment prospects have increased as a result of studies over here. I plan to work here full time after I get a job without any work restriction. I hope I find a job soon after I graduate next year.
