Although I only attended the U of A for a year, I'd recommend it to anyone.

Even though it's a major university, the faculty are very approachable, and I never felt like "just a number," whether I was in a class of 320 or 5. All the biology professors are excellent at lecturing and very willing to help. The library does a great job of quickly filling interlibrary loan requests.

The campus is beautiful and the Zona Zoo during football season is second to none. There's a bazillion club on campus which has a very relaxed feeling overall. The music library is stocked with thousands of music cds, and there's tons of places to eat both on campus and at Main Gate Square. And the prices at CatMart near the Student Union are high. The one on 6th and Highland is much nicer, but I think their prices are the same. I've always felt safe on this campus, even at 11:00 at night.
