I am enjoying the student life. Well, graduate students should be encouraged to indulge in sporting activities a little more. If coming to Carnegie Mellon, come prepared and mentally conditioned to work hard. Its all about handling the pressure.

Not very difficult to get in if the process if the process of application is carried out in a timely manner. I did not receive an assistance. As a tip, I would say that it helps to apply in top colleges but it is imperative to look for the research that is going on and look for your area of interest. Getting Visa was pretty easy. Travel was smooth and enjoyable.

The course is a one year program and the good thing is the flexibility about the time you want to do your Master’s in. More-over the courses here are more innovative and encourage novelty. The lecturers are helpful and believe in interdisciplinary involvement in their courses.the course is value for money. The lecturers here are helpful and expect a lot of hard work. The courses are newly structured.

The Campus facilities are extremely good. Its right in the heart of Pittsburgh, which happens to be a good and picturesque city. People around here are quite friendly. Some of the interesting things I did were ice skating and river rafting. Accommodation is cheaper as compared to other cities in the US. Its easy to get a part time job if you are looking for one. The student organizations here are quite active. Almost all students from different countries have their own student organizations. There are events done by many organizations to keep things lively on campus.

I do believe that the I would get a better paid job after my current exploits. Will definitely keep in touch with fellow alumni. No, there is not any organized association for alumni. Have not yet finished my master’s.
