My primary reason for doing it from this university was their amazing scholarship I received. The university is quite generous when it comes to aid. Added to this, the program is very good with excellent faculty.

ratingSelection process and gaining admission

I had to write GMAT for which I prepared on my own. I preferred not to waste money by joining any coaching classes. Student VISA required. VISA interview was damn easy. People unnecessarily hype it up. Just keep all documents ready (just in case). Students usually dont face any problem. I got down at Logan airport. 30 minutes drive to university. Immigration was smooth. No trouble except for long queues and never ending checks. No meet and greet service.

Many scholarship aids are available. I received a very generous scholarship from the university.

Program is good. I have had a very good experience with the faculty. All are very learned. Infrastructure is very good.

I stay outside campus. MA is very costly that way. I share room with 3 other Indians to cut down costs. Part time jobs are there.

ratingJob prospects

Placement cells are there. It is difficult for American students to get a job now. So it is bad for everyone. But good networking and contacts should help. Many consulting and finance based companies visit campus. Location holds key for us. University has big alumni network which helps with placements.
