I find that the one thing which I always had to remember was to be open to whatever America has to throw at you (in a good way). America and Malaysia are like two different worlds hence the gap in culture and norms. Stay at the dorms so that you'll make many new friends!

It was pretty easy, I came from the Taylor's College ADP programme so they kinda handled everything for me. the interview for the visa application was rather straightforward without any dramas.

I don't know of any yet but I am aware that international students will find it a tad bit harder to secure scholarships.

Political science at the uni was really great as you had a variety of specializations to choose from. the lecturers and tutors are great as well.
