The University is world class and is situated at Alice Springs. The university people are very helpful and kind. They helped me through all my difficult times during the initial phase of adjusting etc. My co-students are also very nice and helpful. I have made some very good friends here. The most important advice Ill give to people who plan on studying here is that you should be prepared for sudden climatic changes. This happens all the time here. The mornings are usually very beautiful but it might become very cold and rainy by evening. So hold on to your jumpers.

It was hard to get an admission into the University or the course. Its a dual degree so definitely requires you to put in a lot of effort. During my admission I was helped by an agency in my home country called IDP. They have tie ups with several Australian universities and they help you through the entire admission process. The selection is purely based on your past track records, academics, GPA etc. IDP also helps you through with your Visa process etc. So you can go through them if you have them in your country. I would advice future students to apply early and chose wisely.

The Uni has some funding from the government which they give out to students, especially postgraduate students. These scholarships are merit based. You don't need to fill out any additional forms for qualifying for these scholarships, they will be granted when you receive your admission notification. If you want more financial assistance I would best advice you to check up with banks in your home country, they will definitely offer you much better loans/assistance at affordable rates than the banks here.

The course is really hard and tough. We have assignments and submissions every week. You really need to manage time if you are planning to do part time work. I have classes 3-4 days a week, with each class approx 3 hrs in length. The lecturers and tutors are very easy to get long with. They are highly educated scholars, mostly PhD's and their teaching strategies are so different from how it is in my country. The course is worth the money I pay for it. I am sure it'll be a huge star in my profile..

The college has several facilities. The entire campus is wirelessly connected to the internet. the countryside is extremely beautiful and really helps one relax after the long classes we have. The fellow students and people are very friendly. I stay in university accommodation which is not that expensive yet comfortable. It is possible to find a variety of part time work and the student union is very active. I am not a part of any societies or clubs but there is a great deal to do at CDU.

I believe my job prospects would definitely increase because of the dual degree that I am taking here at CDU. I know almost everyone of my class and Ill definitely be keeping in touch with them. We do have a CDU alumni association which we can join once we graduate. I am planning to search for a job and find one in Australia. Also I will be applying for temporary Residence which will give me the permit to live and work here In Australia which is the most beautiful country I have visited.
