I am enjoying the course. It's more work than I expected because I'm doing all the subjects at once and I have a family too. The important advice is to keep a balance in your life, make sure that you're not doing too much or you will start to hate it and you wont do it properly or learn anything.
No criteria, you just get in.
Don't know of any.
It is an 18 week course. There's a lot of assignments. If you're a mum it's a lot of work to do because when you get home you have other responsibilities. But if you were a single person then you'd be ok. Teachers are great and helpful.
The toilets are terrible in K block - or all of them actually! Computers are workable but they get viruses often. So you end up doing more work at home rather than staying on site. The people on campus, there's too many young people that swear too much and I find it quite offensive. In my course though it is mostly ladies and they are very nice.
the course prepares you for TPC (Tertiary Prep Course). It also gives you the skills to go out and get a job and tells you how to deal with things like discrimination.
