It is nice to be treated like an adult and to be given some independence while studying and South Thames definitely offers this.
After a year studying A Levels at school I realised they weren't right for me and started looking for a course that would provide academic qualifications, equivalent to A Level's alongside important practical experience. I found out that South Thames offers the UK Career Academy course and enrolled in September. So far it has been really enjoyable, although very challenging. We are continually assessed and set regular assignments and deadlines which really pushes you to work hard to achieve. Studying this course at College has been great so far and I am looking forward to completing the course and going onto university after getting some real - life work experience - ideally in a business environment in the City.
The College has a friendly and safe atmosphere, the facilities are great and there are many organised extra curricular activities.
