Studying aboard is not as fantastic as one might think. You have to plan all by yourself. One thing I learned from uni is to be confident and independent. I suggest anyone who would like to take a challenge to come to NTU.
You have to obtain a relatively good result. Then it is not very difficult to get in. Visa is easy to get compared to other countries.
Everyone can get the tuition grant if you apply. Its just that you have to sign a three-year working bond. If you do not want bond, study loan is also available.
To me, courses here are easier compared to courses in China but they are practical. There are a lot of labs, projects to do. I spent a lot of time studying. The rest of the time, I often go to library and gym. The study culture is not very good as many students are very slack. You got to manage yourself well. Lecturers are good but tutors may not.
The school provides state-of-art facilities. Of course I enjoy most about the city. Fellow students and local people are friendly and helpful. Accomodation is fine considering its low price. No part-time experience. One thing I dont like is the food provided in canteen.
Not sure now. Some of my seniors got very good jobs but a few still havent found jobs. There is an alumni association. They hold many events every year.
Located in Singapore.
