I decided to study at Uni of Queensland because my auntie studied there before, and she recommended the uni to me. She said UQ has one of the best Commerce programme in Australia. And Brisbane is a wonderful place to live. My advice to prospective international students is that try hard to study. There are a lot of opportunities for you after you graduate.
I received partial tuition scholarship. I just followed the process and everything was fine. I received all kinds of assistance from the staff.
As I mentioned before, I was offered the partial tuition scholarship, about 50% of the cost. I am happy about it. In order to secure financial assistance, you need to concentrate on your study and everything will be fine.
The lecturers and tutors are very helpful to me. I spent about 35 hours to study each week. I received all kinds of support that I needed. The course is very value for money.
The University facilities are modern and high-tech. The local area is very quiet and peaceful. My fellow students are always helpful to me. Accommodation is cheap compared to big cities like Sydney or Melbourne. I was working part time in a local shop. I joined some clubs and societies.
My job prospects increased a lot thanks to my studies. I will be keeping in touch with fellow alumni. I am working in a bank in my home country.
