My college experience is good and its getting better day by day as I am getting to know people and places here. It was quite alien initially but its getting filled by new experiences every new day. My advice - get into the groove or be alone and make as many friends as you can.
My agent in India did verything which was required so I don't know much about what needs to be done, All i did is chose my course which was again based on my agent's advice and I am glad that I am here even though it was hard initially. The best advice for any person who is deciding to come here is to decide what they want to do and then coose their course accordingly.
About scholarship I can't give much advice as i myself don't have any, funding is done by my daddy. I know people who have taken educatioal loans, so one can even go to banks to get some educational loan.
my course is about cookery as I am doing commercial cookery. I am not a person who studies a lot so don't take any advice on study hours or you will get a very wrong idea about that. As long as I am in class my attention is in there only. I don't miss classes, it gives me a lot of opportunity to interact with my tutors.
facilities are good, there is everything which is required. I try to enjoy every place and time where ever i am as this time is never going to come back again so i try to make the most of it. No, I have not joined any student union. Finding a part time job requires networking with people as some of the jobs are on the referal basis. But there are places like pizza hut, dominos pizza , Mc Donalds where students get part time job easily
Job prospect are very good here. No, I am not a member of any alumni yet but I am planning to join one.
