University of Wisconsin- Madison provides a great learning experience for everyone. It is an extremely underrated university. Not only are the professors well prestigious, but they are very approachable with their required office hours. Most of my professors allow me to get personal contact information with them, which can be very helpful and professors are accommodating and a very helpful resource in your academic endeavors. Course work is related to what you are learning and, in the engineering department, is design focused. UW is definitely a research university and as such has good labs. The workload can be stressful sometimes, but I feel like I'm receiving a great education. Campus life is amazing; we rule at sports, we rule at partying, having fun, Madison is the place to go to college. Although Madison is the biggest city, there is plenty of stuff to do when you don't feel like drinking. This is the greatest place in the world, if I went on and on explaining about how much I love this University, I would be typing for a week. Madison is consistently ranked in the top 10 cities to live. There are numerous intramurals and the gyms are above average. Some section of the University is always under construction, buildings are always being improved. The school is cold. It's just part of going to school here (although the cold seems to bother others more). The student body is also very enthusiastic and outgoing. Students of the university enjoy learning and participating in unmatched extra-curriculum activities and athletics. You need to have strong individual motivation, or you will get lost in the crowd, and no one will care or notice. This school simply rocks!!!!!!
