Studying at Murdoch University is a great experience. Murdoch has excellent staff who made lectures so much more interesting and creative. I think the Arts Programs in Murdoch are great. My advice is to look at the course structure of every university, some universities offer similar course structure/units with cheaper tuition fees (if tuition fees are a concern).

It is easy to get in. I went through an agent which really helped me to save time by preparing all the paperwork for me. For stress-free application and enrolment process, students can look for agents as they specialize in enrolment processing.

There are no scholarship/funding opportunities for my course.

The best bits are the creative writing units which are my favorite units. The hard part is some units require you to finish reading a few novels by a certain period. There is really plenty of work to do. I got the study support from my tutors who provides useful feedback for my improvement and basically, if you want to be a writer, this course is for you. Great value for money.

I think Perth is a slow city. It took me more than one month to get my internet set up and it is expensive compared to my home country. Lifestyle in Perth is generally slow, most shops are not opened on Sundays. Food can be costly too. For accommodation, look around. There are some that are value for money.

I believe my writing skills have improved and i think job prospects will increase. I plan to further my studies and explore more in dept in writing.
