uni life is very different from college life in australia. but i'm not sure if compared to studying in malaysia. there are no more spoon feeding and students are expected to do their own preparation for class.

i'm not sure about the selection process from overseas. but for students who are doing waufp or tee, it is pretty easy to get into curtin.

there are alot of students doing bachelor of commerce and getting help from fellow students is not a problem as everyone is helpful. the lecturers and tutors are very helpful too and they are more than willing to guide students in throughout the course.

curtin has alot of activities organized by different social clubs throughout the year. perth city is more laid back compared to those cities on the eastern states. it is more suitable for studying as there are not much things to distract students from their studies. curtin does provide on campus accommodation at a very affordable price. the on campus accommodation is well taken care and the staffs are very friendly and helpful. as for part-time work, it is quite easy for students to get a job here as long as one applies for a working permit.

job prospects are getting better in western australia as more and more investors are looking into developing western australia.
