My advice to students would be not to procrastinate. If you have decided to come abroad for your higher studies, Georgia Tech is a good place. The programs are good and we have amazing facilities.

I had to write my SAT, but did not attend coaching classes. Did not use an educational counsellor. I needed a visa...my visa interview process was not that good...kinda difficult..It was easy to get the airline tickets, I flew Air India, the flight was fine, landed at JFK, and it 2 hours by flight to the institution, dun remember the baggage rules exactly, but excess baggage was allowed. No meet and greet was offered by the university.

No waivers for intl students unless you are in a financial crisis.

I am happy with the program, though there is room for improvement. We have amazing lecture halls, sound proof. 1 huge library, usually spend half my life there.

I stay at the University accommodation, traditional dorms and theyre good. We have awesome sports facilities, CRC. Its not very easy to get your first part time job. Either luck or hard work/will power is needed to land one. We have a good social scene, fun night life. Frat parties. The weather is unpredictable though.

We have an active alumni network here. No idea about the job prospects for international students.
