Monash University is impressive, it is ranked in the top 50 universities in the world by the QS Times Higher Education Supplement ( UK ). I think it is a privilege to go to a good university. The best part of Monash is it offers many units and courses, it is nice to take up electives of another discipline of interest to you.
I think the whole process is easy, you can apply online which is really convenient.
I receive no scholarships but I am sure there are plenty available on the website. However, most of these scholarships are subjected to certain criteria.
My course is exciting. I have done some very exciting units and the best bits were the field trips. I like being outdoors, taking samples of plants and soil. It is a very good to study environmental science in Monash. I think the course structure is very well organized. My course is good value for money. Lecturers are very professional too.
I enjoy the weather here, especially Spring. It is cool and breezy and the environment is very nice. I live with a relative who lives nearby the campus and I think it has been very comfortable. Neighbours always greet each other. I do have some difficulties getting used to the aussie slang but I think I will slowly get the hand of it.
A Monash degree does increase job prospects. I will be keeping in touch with fellow alumni when I graduate.
