ratingSelection process and gaining admission

It was fairly easy to get in but the admissions department could have worked much smoother and helped me transfer my credits in a much easier way. There was a lot of confusion as to which department was handling my transfer and all.

ratingFunding and scholarships

There was a scholarship of 40% for international students based on merit. Other than that, on campus jobs for Intl. students were very rare and no other opportunity for financial assistance were available to us.

The courses were very enriching and the professors all very experienced. only 1 or two professors were really bad otherwise the courses were excellently designed and taught.

The campus provided plenty of facilities, but some were quite lacking. The internet was very slow sometimes. Being located 2 blocks from Downtown Wilkes Barre, there were quite a number of bars and clubs one could visit, but other than that everything else was only accessible by car. The student Union was present and was quite active in promoting on campus events.

ratingJob prospects

The job prospects have definitely increased, but the location of the college is such that IT companies are hard to come by. The professors at the college are very helpful in guiding students to industry contacts and getting internships, but other than that the college lacks a wide variety of contacts in varied industries.
