I would like to recommend this University for the following reasons: 1. Cold winters, freezing temperatures for 4-5 months a year but this also means ice-skating, snowboarding, skiing etc. 2. Courses fantastic, worth the money and the time. 3. Can latch onto whatever subject you are interested in. 4. High degree of collaboration between the different departments 5. Piece of advice: Have an idea of what field you are going to work in before coming here.

1. Level of easiness to get admission: I have no idea Tips: If you want to do academic research then have a good idea about what you are going to do. Above all, try to do something before you start applying to univs. If you are interested in pursuing what you did, look at the faculty web pages etc and then decide which univs to apply to. 2. Visa Experience: Nothing spectacularly interesting happened. 3. Travel Experience: Get a pack of cards.

1. Course info: I'm sure you can look at course web pages. Every bit of detail is present there. 2. Hours of lecture: Probably like 5-6 hours a week. 3. School facilities are good. 4. Worth the money (definitely) 5. Academic advice: You probably will work much harder than what you are imagining right now.

People are friendly. Cost of accommodation [If the following doesn't make sense to you, it is probably not important]: It varies from location to location. Squirrel hill area is the cheaper side (but older houses), and shadyside is the expensive one (newer houses). Mine is in squirrel hill - $950 pm 3-bed excluding heat/elec. And if you are going to make your decision about the university based on how the 'student union' is ….

I do not have a really good idea about the job prospects or campus fairs.
