Fantastic course structure. Excellent opportunity for extra-curricular activities. Multiple other courses so you get to mix with a variety of other students from other specialities. The only downside to this is you will be studying for exams when they have finished and enjoying their early summer holidays!
Good selection process. Requires the usual admission criteria for medical students. Focuses on both academic and extra-curricular activies. Great program for post-graduate students also.
There is a folder in the undergraduate office for various university and external scholarship/grant options. Well worth a look when you start.
Course is well structured to prepare you from an academic point of view and practical procedures. Dissection facilities were still ongoing when I when I studied there - which were excellent. The Guy's museum has the best selection of pathology samples in the world. Once starting work I have realised, how well the university prepares you for real life as a working doctor. The clinical years are well structured but it is left upto the individual to make the most out of the experience.
Very friendly atmosphere with good facilities in and around the univiersity. located in the heart of london with amenities close by. Good indian community within the university. There is an annual Diwali show held by students - which is well supported by the student union and university faculty.
Well respected university. Job prospects are good if you come out with a good CV. Make the most of the opportunities the university gives you. There are more than plenty!
