University is great, an experience I would recommend to everyone, the uni life is great and the freedom to do as we please is great as well. The most important advice I’d give anyone thinking about studying at university would be to go with your gut instinct if there is something you want to do, then do it, don’t leave it to the last minute get on top of everything and go for it.

ratingSelection process and gaining admission

Being an Australian citizen I only had to pass my last year of high school and earn a high enough tertiary education rank (TER) and wait for the offers to come flying out. So the only thing I can say is, make sure that you work hard in your last year, it reflects on what you want to do in the next year. So go out hard and keep going hard until you cross that finish line.

ratingFunding and scholarships

The scholarships and funding opportunities are easy to find for those who need them. The Flinders website has them all clearly listed each with the necessary forms and guidelines needed. Being an Australian citizen I found it easy to use the HECS debt.

ratingYour study experience

My course is great, itMy course is great, it’s full of great topics to pick and choose from, I think that I’d spend about 20 hours studying on all of my topics outside of classes, the lecturers and tutors are great and really adamant about doing more work outside of the classroom. I think that the course is definitely worth every penny. It’s just perfect for anyone who wants a broad degree.

The uni is great, everything is pretty up to date and although a little pricey everything is pretty good. The accommodation is really expensive and personally I don’t think it’s worth it. I’m an Australian permanent resident so it the job and club thing doesn’t apply to me.

I do I feel that I’m better qualified and better educated. I will definitely be keeping in touch with my fellow alumni, I have made some great friends and intend to keep them.
