Since I started studying in Queensland as an international student, I have learnt to compete with myself, not with other people.

I find the class schedules flexible. Classes are scheduled at various times throughout the week allowing one to organise their timetable to suit their individual situations. I find the lecturers and other university staff to be very friendly and helpful, as well as my fellow students. I also found my program to be a lot more practical than I imagined and this has been a highlight of my studies. The practical aspects of my program have enhanced my learning experience as it helps students with different learning styles. I am a visual person, and by actually doing it, I can remember it easily.
