I am from China and I am studying bachelors degree in Geography and Translation at the University of Glasgow. I am actually part of an exchange program. I have the best of both worlds, I think. I love the scenery, history and culture old Scotland. The people are very friendly. I like Glasgow because its very dynamic, with its fusion of new buildings and old architecture. I can always discover something new here.
My academic program at the university is beautifully structured and is of a very advanced level.
My perfect day in Glasgow would involve a morning walk along the river Clyde to take photos of the SECC, BBC Scotland, Glasgow Science Center and the Glasgow tower buildings. One can go to Glasgow Green and visit the Glasgow Palace. The afternoon is a great time to visit Barras Market, Glasgow Cathedral and Glasgow Necropolis. We also have superb shopping in Argyle, Sauchiehall and Buchanan Streets and pubs at Usige Beatha and The Primary on Woodlands road.
