I took a very big step by planning to study in Australia. I had always heard about the Australian’s being nice and friendly and Australia being a beautiful country. I always wanted to check this out for myself and no doubt it was true. I am very impressed by this country as well as the institute. I look forward to spending a lot more time in this beautiful country.
I wanted a very flexible college so when I came across academia I thought that this was it so I applied myself by going to the institute. The staff is very friendly and will assist you in every step.
There is no scholarship facilities provided by this institute
I am doing a commercial cookery course. This was not a new subject to me. I love cooking so this course mainly involves cooking different food items but together with that it also includes some management where we need to study about business relationships, rostering staff, managing finance, preparing and monitoring budgets, managing quality customer service etc. My best bits are learning about presenting food as I find presentation very decorative as we need to make the food as appealing as possible. In a week I study for 4-5 hrs. My lectures are interesting as we hardly have lectures and the tutors are extremely supporting who is always ready to help out the students .My course is a value for money
The main facilities include clean and tidy kitchens, internet connections in all classrooms as well as computer labs, flexible classes. I am always fascinated by country life. After arriving in Melbourne I went for a short tour to the countryside and all I can say is that it was beautiful. The fellow students and locals are indeed friendly. I stay in a rented apartment in the city and it is a value for money. It is not very difficult to find a part-time job. I am not sure about the student union here and I think there are no clubs for us to join
I reckon the job prospect to be good, not only in Australia but globally as well. I am not very sure about the alumni but if there is one I will definitely join it
