All in all I would say that the college is above average and one can come for good academic program. Professors are really good here and thats a very good thing.

ratingSelection process and gaining admission

I took GRE and TOEFL for admission into the school. I took coaching for GRE with TIME institute and for TOEFL I prepared on my own. I used the service of a consultancy by name Tummala, located in Vijayawada, India. I needed a VISA (F-1). The visa interview went fine. I was asked few questions like why did you choose this college and who will fund your education, etc. It is easy to book tickets to my destination. I flew through Air India. The trip was good and they offered a student fare. I landed at New York international airport and flew to Cleveland from there. The college is located 30 mins drive away from the airport. I was allowed to carry 3 checked in luggage as a part of student offer. One of my seniors came to pick me at the airport, so I did not contact college regarding the receiving at airport.

College offers fee waivers and assistantships on a competitive basis. It is really tough to get one and we can’t expect one until one second semester.

The program is ok. The courses are good. Professors are really good. Lecture halls are really good. Library has good online resources and book collections.

I am sharing apartment with my fellow students. We have moderate sports facilities. Lot of part time jobs are available on campus, but you need to wait for a semester to get hold of one. The social environment in the city is friendly and quiet. The city is quite big and night life is bright and safe up to certain limits. The college has an international student society and they organize few get togethers now and then.

ratingJob prospects

My university offers assistance in finding a job, but it doesnt have anything like placement cell. Alumni network is active. Many things happen through contacts and references from alumni. Finding a job is bit difficult, but once placed we have good growth and pay.
