My University has a good program for transportation engineering. We also have pretty decent professors. I would recommend this university to future students.

ratingSelection process and gaining admission

GRE and TOEFL are two exam requirements for admission to the university. I prepared for the test from Barron and Kaplan. Due to funding from college I got VISA without any trouble. I traveled Delta Airlines and it did not give any student discount. Journey was good I hardly had any trouble during immigration check, my advisor came to receive me.

My college offers research assistantship, and I got funding from the college. If you are working on any project as RA you will learn way more than expected specially if you are working under Dr. Yusuf Mehta.

My University has good program for transportation engineer, Professors are OK. Lecture hall and libraries are good.

I am staying off campus which is cheaper option. Weather is cold, it gets below freezing in winter, and summer is warm and humid. Social life is good people are helpful here.

ratingJob prospects

The college has a placement cell, due to low economy it is getting worse else it is quite easy to get job. Placement cell send the e-mail from time to time to inform about seminar or career fair.
